1. Clean the solenoid valve from dirt.
2. To check for leaks, disconnect the rubber hoses from the valve fittings. Connect a clean hose to the central fitting and create a vacuum with your mouth.
Air should not pass through a closed, serviceable valve.
3. To check the valve operation, turn on the ignition. A working valve should open, and when a vacuum is applied to the central fitting, air should pass through. When disconnecting and connecting one of the valve power wires, it should operate with a characteristic click.
4. Turn off the ignition.
5. To replace the valve, disconnect the wires from the valve terminals and the rubber hoses from the valve fittings.
6. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut securing the valve to the stud on the mudguard and remove the valve.
Installation
The valve is installed in the reverse order.
Attention! The hose from the intake manifold is connected to the central fitting, and the hose from the carburetor economizer is connected to the side fitting.
