AvtoVAZ car workshop repair instructions

AvtoVAZ is a Soviet and Russian large automobile manufacturing company, which is located in the city of Togliatti. VAZ stands for Volga Automobile Plant, as Tolyatti is located on the Volga River. The plant was founded back in 1966 under the USSR. Thousands of people from all over the Soviet Union participated in the construction.

Construction continued until 1970, when the first car was produced, and in 1971 the first stage was completed with a production capacity of 220 thousand cars. In 1972, the second stage of the plant with the same capacity was built. In 1973, the millionth car was produced, and over the entire period, about 30 million cars were produced.
The names of the cars were «Niva», «Oka», «Samara», «Zhiguli», and currently they are sold under the brand name «Lada», the lineup of which includes «Kalina», «Granta», «Priora» , «4x4», «Largus», «Vesta» and others. In 2012, the plant's capacity is 900,000 a year.
