VAZ-2115

VAZ-2115 is a front-wheel drive car of the Russian manufacturer AvtoVAZ small class II group. It was produced from 1997 to 2012, and the car was mass-produced since 2000. It has another official name "Lada Samara-2" and the unofficial "fifteen". The car has a body type only in the form of a four-door "sedan" and it is a deep restyling VAZ-21099. During the entire period, about 750 thousand cars were produced.

History of the model

The VAZ-2115 became the first car in the "Samara-2" line. Initially, it was planned to modernize not only the appearance, but also the chassis - brakes, suspension and transmission. But in the end, these plans were not realized and all these elements were almost completely transferred without changes from VAZ-21099. This has its advantages, as spare parts remain the same and are cheap.

The exterior design has changed quite significantly. The body has become more streamlined, the front headlights have become narrower, the rear lights have also been updated, the trunk has a spoiler with an additional brake light, the bumpers and moldings are now painted in the body color (they used to be black), The interior remained the same, and with the start of serial production in 2000, it was also significantly updated.

From that moment on, only injection engines with distributed fuel injection were installed. Carburetor engines had a volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 72 hp, injection engines had a volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 78 hp, and in 2007, they began to install a 1.6 liter engine with a capacity of 81 hp. The transmission was only mechanical 5-speed.

In 2004, the car completely replaced its predecessor, which had been produced in parallel before. In 2008, a small facelift was carried out. In 2012, the car was discontinued and replaced by the new Lada Granta sedan.

VAZ-2114 is a front-wheel drive small car of the II group of the Russian automaker AvtoVAZ with a body type of five-door "hatchback". It was produced from 2003 to 2013. It is a restyling of the car VAZ-2109 and is part of the family "Lada Samara-2". Over the 10 years of the model's existence, 923 thousand copies were produced. In 2013, it was completely replaced by the new Lada Granta hatchback.

History of the model

The car was presented to the public in 2001, and production began in April 2003. Changes in the exterior design were similar to the VAZ-2115, and the interior was immediately updated with a new "Europanel" instrument panel and an on-board computer. Many new options appeared, such as a tilt-adjustable steering column, a new heater, front electric windows, a trauma-safe steering wheel from VAZ-2110.

At first, the car was equipped with a 1.5-liter injection engine with distributed fuel injection. Since 2007, they began to install a 1.6-liter engine with phased fuel injection, corresponding to Euro-3 standards, and the model received the index VAZ-21144. At the same time, the cable gas pedal was replaced with an electronic one. In 2010, some modifications began to install 16-valve engines with a capacity of 90 hp. The transmission on all modifications is mechanical five-speed.

VAZ-2113 is a Russian front-wheel drive small car of the II group with a three-door "hatchback" body type. It was produced from 2004 to 2013 at a plant in the city of Tolyatti. It is a deep restyling VAZ-2108 and is part of the family "Lada Samara-2". External and design modifications are identical to the VAZ-2114 model. About 73 thousand cars were produced during the entire period. In 2010, a new car, the Lada Priora Coupe, was released, which later replaced the VAZ-2113.
