VAZ-2110
VAZ-2110 is a Russian small car of the III group with a sedan body with a front engine and front-wheel drive. It was produced from 1995 to 2007 at a plant in Tolyatti, and then in Ukraine until 2014. Another official name of the car is Lada 110, popularly called "ten".
History of the model
The design of the VAZ-2110 began in 1983 on the basis of the car VAZ-2108. They planned to make a sedan, but in the end they got a new generation of the car. The sedan from VAZ-2108 got the name VAZ-21099. In 1985, the first prototype was built for testing. Serial production was planned to begin in 1992, but due to the economic crisis, production began only in 1995.
Despite the delay in production, the car was a big step forward for AvtoVAZ. The exterior design was quite competitive, and the design used the latest innovations of the time - an electronic engine management system and an on-board computer. In 2007, the car was completely replaced by the next generation called "Lada Priora".
