Removal
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or overpass (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the neutralizer from the inlet pipe (see "Intake pipe - removal and installation").
3. Using a 17 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the flanges of the neutralizer and additional muffler, holding the nuts from turning with a wrench of the same size.

4. Remove the neutralizer.

Installation
We install the neutralizer in the reverse order, applying graphite grease to the bolt threads.
