Decoding the identification number
The first three letters, according to international standards, indicate the manufacturer's code; the next six digits are the car model; latin letter (or number) - model year of the car (see table 1.1); the last seven digits are the body number.

The identification number is duplicated in the luggage compartment on the left rear wheel arch connector.

To access the identification number, open the trunk, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw securing the arch trim and remove the trim.

The engine model and number are stamped on the machined lug of the cylinder block between the spark plug sockets of the third and fourth cylinders.

In the variant version, the model designation and engine number are stamped on the left side of the cylinder block boss above the oil filter.
