
Using a thin screwdriver, pry up and remove the two plastic lock control rod retainers from the holes in the body.

Using pliers, we move the retaining tube...

...and disconnect the rod from the lock.

Using a felt-tip pen, mark the position of the lock on the bracket and use a 10 mm wrench to unscrew the two nuts...

...and remove the hood lock.

We straighten the rod and remove the retaining tube.

Under the instrument panel, using pliers, pull the rod out of the casing through the hole in the hood lock drive handle,...

...and we pull the traction casing into the engine compartment.
We install the lock according to the marks in the reverse order. If necessary, we adjust its position. Having loosened the two fastening nuts, we move the lock within the fastening holes, achieving its precise operation.
