We use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the plastic buttons (pistons) securing the upholstery.
If you can't remove the buttons from the holes, use side cutters to cut off their heads...
...and remove the side panel trim. Pull out the remaining buttons with pliers.
We install the side panel trim in the reverse order of removal, securing it with new buttons.
