Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew three screws and remove the sill trims of the front and rear doors.
Remove the lower trim of the central pillar (see Replacing the front seat belt and Replacing the center pillar trim).
Remove the front seat belt retainer (see Replacing the front seat belt).
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws...

...and remove the protective cover of the parking brake lever.
Using the same screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that secure the mat to the floor...
...and remove it together with the soundproofing covering. The front seat is removed for clarity.
