Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the lock.

3. Remove the trunk lid lock.

4. Having pushed the lock cylinder inside the trunk lid, we remove the cylinder together with the spacer sleeve.

5. If necessary, remove the lock drive sealing ring.

Installation
1. Clean off dirt and lubricate the rubbing surfaces with aerosol or plastic lubricant.
2. Installation of removed parts is performed in reverse order.
3. We adjust the position of the lock by moving it up and down with the nuts loosened, achieving a tight closure of the lid with uniform gaps around the perimeter. Tighten the nuts.
