5. Remove the lock rod from the hole in the lock cylinder lever and remove it.
6. Unscrew the three nuts securing the lock to the inner panel of the trunk lid…

8. Unscrew the lock cylinder mounting bolt and remove the cylinder.
Note: There is a rubber gasket between the lock cylinder and the outer panel of the trunk lid. If the rubber gasket has lost its elasticity, replace it.
9. Unscrew the two nuts of the lock guide bracket and remove the bracket.
10. Install the trunk lid lock in the reverse order of removal.
11. Adjust the clarity of locking and unlocking the lock by changing its position in the desired direction with the fastening nuts loosened.
