Replacing the side door lock actuator cylinder (VAZ-11113)

You will need:

• screwdriver
• pliers

Remove the door trim (see subsection 9.6.1.).



1. Disconnect the outer drive rod from the lock.



2. Remove the locking bracket 1 securing the outer drive 2 of the lock.



3. Remove the outer lock drive.



4. Remove the outer lock drive sealing gasket.





5. Knock out the pin from the key switch leash and...

6....remove the leash with the lock drive rod.



7. Pry it up with a screwdriver and...



8....remove the rubber holder from the lock drive rod (shown on the handle and rod removed from the car).




9. Remove the lock actuator cylinder from the outer actuator.



10. To replace the external lock actuator button, remove the pin from the back of the actuator and remove the button. When assembling, do not forget to install the return spring of the button.



11. Assemble and install the outer drive of the lock in the reverse order of disassembly and removal. Check the operation of the drive of the lock. Install the door trim.
