Removing
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Drain the liquid from the cooling system (see "Coolant - level check and replacement").
3. Remove the alternator drive belt (see "Alternator drive belt - tension adjustment and replacement").
4. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut securing the generator adjusting bar.
5. Using the same tool, unscrew the nut securing the generator to the adjusting bar (see "Generator - removal and installation") and remove the adjustment bar.
6. Using a 13 mm socket or socket wrench, loosen the three bolts securing the pump drive pulley, holding the pulley from turning with a large screwdriver.
7. Turn off the bolts and remove the pulley.
8. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the four nuts securing the pump cover.
9. To facilitate the removal of the pump, we tap its cover with a hammer with a plastic or rubber striker.
10. Remove the pump from the studs.
11. There is a sealing gasket between the pump and its housing, which must be replaced.
Installation
1. Install the removed parts in reverse order.
2. Adjust the tension of the alternator belt (see "Alternator drive belt - tension adjustment and replacement").
3. Fill the liquid into the system (see "Coolant - level check and replacement").
