Removal and installation the coolant pump (VAZ-1111)

Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery. Drain the coolant into a container through the drain holes of the engine and radiator with the expansion tank cap removed and the cabin heater tap open. Remove the camshaft drive belt. Remove the camshaft pulley and belt tensioner. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the rear protective cover and the coolant pump with the sealing gasket.

The coolant pump is installed in the reverse order of removal. The pump gasket is replaced with a new one. After assembly and filling with coolant, the tightness of the connections is checked.
