Removal
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or overpass (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a rubber bulb, remove fluid from the clutch hydraulic drive reservoir.
3. Disconnect the rubber clamp securing the coolant expansion tank and move the tank to the side (see "Expansion tank - replacement").
4. Using a 13 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the pipeline fitting, remove it from the hole in the cylinder and set it aside.

5. Loosen the band clamp and remove the hose from the cylinder nipple.

6. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the cylinder and remove it from the studs.

Installation
1. Install all removed parts in reverse order.
2. Fill the tank with fluid to the required level and bleed the hydraulic drive system (see "Clutch release hydraulic drive - fluid replacement and bleeding").
