Removal and installation the master and slave cylinders of the clutch release drive (VAZ-2101)

Before removing the cylinders, completely drain the working fluid. To do this, put one end of the hose on the nipple 9 (see fig. 62) of the working cylinder, and the other is lowered into a clean container with brake fluid. Unscrew the nipple by 1/2-3/4 of a turn and press the pedal until the fluid is removed from the drive system. Then disconnect the tubes connecting the main and working cylinders, the release spring 7, remove the cotter pin from the end of the pusher and remove the working cylinder.

To remove the master cylinder, unscrew the two nuts that secure it to the pedal bracket with studs and disconnect the flexible hose from the reservoir. Install the master and slave cylinders in the reverse order.

After filling the drive with working fluid, it is bled as described below.
