Removal
Attention! The expansion tank should only be removed when the engine has cooled down.
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Prepare the container (not less than 2 l) to drain the coolant.
3. Unfasten the expansion tank fastening belt (see "Coolant - Checking Level and Replacing").
4. Using pliers or a flat-head screwdriver with a narrow blade, loosen the clamp securing the connecting hose to the radiator filler neck and remove the hose.

5. Drain the liquid from the tank into the prepared container.
6. Disconnect the connecting hose from the tank pipe.
Installation
1. Install the new expansion tank in the reverse order.
2. Open the tank cap and add coolant to the required level (see "Coolant - Checking Level and Replacing").
