Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the air filter housing from the carburetor studs (see "Air filter housing - removal and installation").
3. Move the air damper control rod handle away from you until it stops. In this position of the handle, the damper should take a vertical position. If the damper position is not vertical, adjust the drive.
4. Holding it from turning with a key by 7 mm bushing, loosen the tightening of the rod mounting screw with a slotted screwdriver. In this case, the damper will take a vertical position under the action of the return spring.
4. Tighten the traction control screw. When the cable handle is pulled out, the air damper should completely cover the opening of the inlet neck of the primary chamber of the carburetor.
5. Install the air filter housing back into place.
