Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the air filter housing from the carburetor studs (see "Air filter housing - removal and installation").
3. When the gas pedal is released, the primary chamber throttle valve should completely cover the opening of the mixing chamber. The assistant presses the pedal all the way down, and the valve should open completely (take a vertical position). If necessary, adjust the position of the damper by changing the length of the drive rods.
4. First of all, we measure the distance between the centers of the tie rod ends B (see fig. p. 5), which should be 80 mm. If necessary, remove the rod and, having unclamped its ends with a key by 8 mm, adjust the length of the rod. Lock the tips and install the rod in place.
5. Remove the end of the longitudinal drive rod from the intermediate lever joint A and loosening the lock nut, we change the length of the rod, achieving a vertical position of the throttle valve.

6. Having set the vertical position of the throttle valve with the gas pedal pressed all the way down, we put the tip on the intermediate lever joint. We lock the rod tip.
