The number plate lights are equipped with AC12-5-1 (C5W) type lamps.
Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").
3. Lift the trunk lid, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the light and remove it from the mounting hole in the inner panel of the lid.
4. Press the lampshade away from the lamp housing and move it towards the retainer A. Disengage the lampshade and remove it.
5. Remove the lamp from the spring contacts and replace it with a new one.
6. If it is necessary to replace the lamp housing, disconnect the wire tips from its terminals.
Installation
Assembly and installation of removed parts is performed in reverse order.
