Oil pressure gauge (type UK-194) works in conjunction with the MM-393A sensor installed on the cylinder block. The pointer has the same design as the fuel gauge. The MM-393A sensor is a rheostat that changes the electrical resistance depending on the oil pressure in the engine lubrication system. The principle of checking the health of the pointer and oil pressure sensor is similar to checking the pointer and fuel level sensor.
