We remove the seal from the flanging of the front pillar of the driver's door.
Using a screwdriver, remove the left side panel trim. For its subsequent installation, you will need two new fastening buttons (see Replacing the side trim).
Under the instrument panel with a Phillips screwdriver...
...we unscrew the two screws securing the relay.
The relay connector is located in the instrument panel behind the instrument cluster. It can be accessed from below the instrument panel. The relay connector block has four terminals. We disconnect it (for clarity, the photo was taken with the instrument panel removed).
