Needle valve and float — replacement (VAZ-2107)

1. Remove the carburetor cover (see below, "Carburetor cover - removal and disassembly").

2. Using a punch, knock the float axis out of the bracket hole on the cover.



3. Remove the axle and the float together with the needle valve.



4. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the needle valve seat.



5. Install a new needle valve with a seat and a float.

6. Check and, if necessary, adjust the fuel level in the float chamber (see "Fuel level in the float chamber - checking and adjustment").

7. Install the cover and the remaining removed parts in reverse order.
