Needle valve and float — replacement (VAZ-2106)

Sequence of execution

1. Remove the carburetor cover (see "Carburetor cover - removal and disassembly").

2. Using a punch, knock the float axis out of the bracket hole on the cover.



3. Remove the axle and the float together with the needle valve.

4. Key by 10 mm unscrew the needle valve seat.



5. Install a new needle valve with a seat and a float.



6. Check and, if necessary, adjust the fuel level in the float chamber (see "Fuel level in the float chamber - checking and adjustment").

7. Install the cover and the remaining removed parts in reverse order.
