Pendulum arm — replacement (VAZ-2106)

We remove the pendulum lever for replacement.

Removal

1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or overpass (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").

2. Disconnect the steering rods from the pendulum arm (see "Steering rods - replacement").

3. With a socket wrench by 19 mm we unscrew the two nuts securing the lever bracket to the right side member of the body, holding the bolts from turning with a wrench of the same size.



4. Remove the bracket with the pendulum arm.

Installation

We install the pendulum lever in the reverse order.
