Headlight — removal and installation (VAZ-2107)

Removal

1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").

2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").

3. Using a screwdriver, press the plastic retainer and remove the hydraulic corrector from the hole in the rear wall of the headlight.

4. Disconnect the wiring blocks from the headlight connectors.

5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the headlight to the body.

6. Remove the headlight, trying not to lose the plate nuts.

Installation

1. Installation of the headlight unit is performed in the reverse order.

2. Check and, if necessary, adjust the direction of the headlight beams (see "Headlight beam direction - adjustment").
