Front seat — removal and installation (VAZ-2106)

We remove the seat for repair or replacement.

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").

2. Move the seat forward until it stops and use a socket wrench by 8 mm we unscrew the two bolts of the rear mounting of the guide rails.



3. Move the seat all the way back and use a socket wrench by 8 mm we unscrew the bolt of the front fastening of the outer guide of the runners.



4. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the nut of the bolt of the front fastening of the inner guide of the runners and remove the bolt.



5. Having lifted the seat, we take it out of the passenger compartment through the front door.

Installation

1. Before installation, clean and apply plastic lubricant to the screw threads and the rubbing surfaces of the slides.

2. Install the front seat in the reverse order.
