We check the gap between the spark plug electrodes with a round wire feeler gauge.
A special key is convenient (designed for maintenance of the ignition system) with a set of necessary probes.
By carefully bending or unbending the side electrode, we achieve a gap of 0.5–0.6 mm (0.7–0.8 for a contactless system).
