Note: The license plate light is installed at the lower end of the tailgate.
1. Use a screwdriver to pry the light up and slide it to the right to release the hook on the housing.
2. Remove the light from the trunk lid.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness and ground wire from the light contacts.
4. When installing, connect the wires and engage the hook of the lamp housing with the trunk lid.
5. Press the right side of the light to snap the housing into the door.
