Replacing the reverse light switch (VAZ-2115)

The reverse light switch is mounted on the bottom of the gearbox.

You will need a 22 mm wrench.

1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.

2. Raise the vehicle with a lift or place it on an inspection pit.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the reverse light switch sensor.



4. Unscrew the sensor from the gearbox housing.

5. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
