To perform the operation you will need:
- "balloon" wrench or socket wrench by 19 mm;
- jack;
- wheel chocks;
- jack pad (if the car is on loose ground).
Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Place wheel chocks under the wheel that is diagonally opposite the one being replaced.
3. With a standard "balloon" wrench (or end) loosen the four wheel mounting bolts.
4. Install the jack lifting lever into the bracket socket located under the body bottom and rotate the jack handle clockwise until the wheel is raised above the road surface.
Warning! If the vehicle is parked on loose ground, place a support under the jack (for example, a board of the appropriate size).
5. Unscrew the wheel mounting bolts, remove it and move the decorative cap to the wheel being installed.
Installation
1. Install the spare wheel and tighten the bolts by hand. Using a wheel wrench, tighten the bolts evenly, crosswise, holding the wheel from turning.
2. Lower the car, remove the jack and finally tighten the wheel mounting bolts crosswise to a torque of 58.8-72.0 N·m.
3. Check the air pressure in the tire and, if necessary, bring it up to the norm (see "Tires - Checking Pressure").
4. Install the removed wheel in place of the spare wheel and secure it.
5. We put the jack, wheel chocks and wheel wrench into the luggage compartment.
