We remove the main brake cylinder for its replacement, as well as when replacing the brake booster.
To perform the work you will need an assistant, as well as a special 10 mm wrench for brake pipes, a transparent vinyl tube of a suitable diameter, a container for draining the brake fluid, fresh brake fluid (see "Operating fluids").
Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a rubber bulb, remove the brake fluid from the reservoir.
3. Having loosened the clamps, we remove two flexible hoses from the cylinder fittings.

4. Mark the position of the tubes relative to the master brake cylinder.
5. Using a special 10 mm wrench for brake pipes, unscrew the three brake pipe fittings and move them to the side.

6. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the brake booster.

7. Remove the master brake cylinder.

Installation
1. Install the master brake cylinder in the reverse order.
2. Bleed the brake hydraulic system (see "Hydraulic brake drive - bleeding and replacing brake fluid").
