To carry out the work, you will need an assistant, as well as a special wrench for 10 mm for brake pipes, a transparent vinyl pipe of a suitable diameter, a container for draining brake fluid, fresh brake fluid (see "Operating fluids").
Removing
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. With a rubber bulb, we select the brake fluid from the reservoir.
3. After loosening the clamps, remove two flexible hoses from the cylinder fittings.
4. We mark the position of the tubes relative to the master brake cylinder.
5. With a special 10 mm wrench for brake pipes, unscrew the three fittings of the brake pipes and take them aside.
6. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the vacuum brake booster.
7. Remove the master brake cylinder.
Installation
1. Install the master brake cylinder in reverse order.
2. We pump the hydraulic brakes (see "Hydraulic brakes - pumping and replacing brake fluid").
