To carry out the work, you will need an assistant, as well as a special wrench for 10 mm for brake pipes, a transparent vinyl pipe of a suitable diameter, a container for draining brake fluid, fresh brake fluid (see "Operating fluids").
Removing
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front wheel (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. Use pliers to remove the bracket that secures the brake hose.
4. Using a special 10 mm wrench, unscrew the brake pipe fitting, holding the hose tip with a 17 mm wrench.
5. To reduce the loss of brake fluid, put a protective cap on the end of the tube (from the brake cylinder bleeder) and remove the hose tip from the bracket on the body.
6. Using a socket wrench with a deep head of 10 mm, unscrew the bolt securing the fixing bracket of the brake hose.
7. Remove the fixing bracket.
8. Using a 14 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the bolt fitting for fastening the brake hose tip.
9. Remove the hose with a bolt and copper sealing washers.
Installation
1. Replace copper sealing washers.
2. Installation of a new hose is carried out in reverse order.
3. Similarly, we replace the hose on the opposite side.
4. We pump the front hydraulic brake circuit (see "Hydraulic brakes - pumping and replacing brake fluid").
