Removing the rear cable
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the release spring from the body bracket and the tip of the front cable with round-nose pliers or pliers.
3. Remove the return spring.
4. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the lock nut while holding the adjusting nut with a wrench of the same size.
5. Holding the tip of the front cable with pliers, unscrew the adjusting nut with a 13 mm wrench and remove it together with the remote sleeve.
6. Remove the rear cable guide from the front tip and disconnect it from the cable.
7. Remove the cable ends from the drive levers (see "Rear wheel brake pads - replacement") without disconnecting the support legs of the pads.
8. Prying with a screwdriver, we remove the tip of the cable sheath from the hole in the body bracket.
9. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the rear cable bracket to the body and remove the bracket.
10. Using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the cable sheath holder to the brake shield.
11. We pull out a branch of the cable from the shield.
12. Similarly, disconnect the branch of the cable from the opposite side and remove the rear cable of the parking brake system.
Attention! The right branch of the cable differs from the left by the presence of a rubber tube on the sheath.
Remove the guide roller of the front cable in the presence of mechanical damage or to lubricate the contact surfaces of the roller and the spacer sleeve.
Removing a roller
1. Remove the rear cable guide from the front tip and disconnect it from the cable (see above).
2. Using a 13 mm key, unscrew the roller mounting bolt.
3. Shooting a video.
Remove the front cable to replace it.
Removing the front cable
1. Remove the rear cable guide from the front tip and disconnect it from the cable (see above).
2. Using a short Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the protective cover.
3. Remove the cover from the lever.
4. Remove the rubber seal from the arm bracket.
5. Using a 10 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the four bolts securing the lever.
6. Remove the lever along with the front cable.
7. We unpin the connection of the lever with the cable, remove the washer from the axis of the cable tip.
8. Remove the tip of the cable.
Installation
1. We install the parts in the reverse order, lubricating the roller axis.
2. Adjust the parking brake system (see "Parking brake - adjustment").
