Attention! When performing work related to depressurization of the fuel system, exercise caution. When the engine is running, it is prohibited to depressurize the system, since the pressure in it is 2.8-3.2 bar (280-320 kPa). After the engine stops, the pressure drops to zero within 2.5-3 hours.
If work related to depressurization of the power supply system (replacement of fuel filter, injectors, etc.), we carry out this on a freshly stopped engine; it is necessary to relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").

3. Remove fuse f3 of the electric fuel pump circuit from the control system fuse and relay box (see "Engine Management System Fuses and Relays - Replacement").
4. Connect the wire to the battery terminal and start the engine, letting it run until all remaining fuel in the pipeline is used up.
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Install the fuse back in place.
