Contents: Removal the fuel rail ↓ Installation ↓
We remove the fuel rail to check or replace the injectors, as well as when removing the intake manifold. To check the injectors, you will need an ohmmeter.
Removal the fuel rail
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Release the pressure in the fuel system (see "Relieving pressure in the fuel system").
3. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").
4. After pressing the lock, disconnect the injector wiring harness block from the engine wiring harness.

5. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance of the injector windings by connecting one probe to the terminal E ("mass") of the wiring block, and the other one - in turn to the four terminals (F,G,B,C), measuring the resistance of each injector, which should be within 12-14.5 Ohms.
6. Remove the receiver (see "Receiver - removal and installation").
7. Using a 17 mm wrench, unscrew the fitting of the fuel drain pipe from the rail, holding the end of the hose with a wrench of the same size.

8. Similarly, disconnect the fuel supply pipe to the rail.
A sealing ring is installed at the connection between the tube and the hose tip.

9. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the two screws securing the ramp to the intake manifold.

10. Pulling the ramp along the axes of the injectors, remove it together with the injectors, pressure regulator, fuel pipes and wiring harness.
If the injector remains in the intake manifold, it is necessary to replace the injector body sealing ring and the spring retainer.

11. To remove the fuel supply pipe to the rail, use a 5 mm Allen key to unscrew the screw securing the pipe retainer and remove it from the rail.

A sealing ring is also installed at the connection between the tube and the ramp.

12. To remove the injector, move the retainer along the ramp.

13. By shaking the nozzle, we remove it from the hole in the ramp.

14. Pressing the spring clip of the wire block, disconnect it from the injector.

15. To replace the injector sealing rings, remove them from the body and the sprayer.

16. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance of the injector winding, which should be within 12-14.5 Ohms. Otherwise, replace the injector.

Installation
1. Replace the sealing rings, lubricating them with engine oil before installation.
2. Installation of all removed parts is performed in reverse order.
