You will need: a 10 mm socket head and a ratchet.
1. Unscrew the nuts and remove one…
2. …and the second pressure plates for attaching the spoiler to the rear door trim.
3. Loosen the tailgate lock mounting nut (shown by arrow) and remove the "ground" wire of the additional brake light installed in the spoiler.
4. Disconnect the additional brake light wire connector.
5. Unscrew the bolt…
6. …and remove the spoiler mounting bracket from the left edge of the tailgate.
7. Similarly, remove the spoiler mounting bracket to the right edge of the tailgate..
8. …and remove the spoiler.
9. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal; if necessary, treat the areas where the spoiler touches the outer panel of the tailgate with an anti-corrosion compound (see the subsection "Body care").
