Rear Seat Belt Replacement (Sedan) (VAZ-2115)

You will need: a screwdriver, a 17 mm socket head, and a ratchet.

1. Fold the rear seat cushion forward, remove the cover from the head of the lap belt mounting bolt…



2. …and unscrew the bolt.

Note: The belt mounting bolts are of different lengths. The shortest bolt secures the inertia reel, the longest (bottom) bolt secures the lap section of the belt.

3. Remove the decorative cover of the upper belt bracket mounting bolt.



4. Remove the bolt while holding the belt.





5. From the trunk side, push the belt trim up from the rear shelf.



6. Remove the belt inertia reel mounting bolt.



7. Pull the belt with the trim through the hole in the rear shelf into the trunk and remove the belt from the car.



8. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the belt buckle.

9. Install the new belt in the reverse order of removal.
