The rear seat hinges are secured with two nuts (installed under the plugs) to the body floor studs.
1. Remove the two plastic caps from the rear seat cushion hinge mounting nuts (one is shown).
2. Remove the two nuts securing the rear seat hinges (one is shown) and...
3....remove the spring and flat washers.
4. Open the back door and...
5....remove the luggage compartment shelf.
6. Press up on the lock handles on both sides of the rear seat back...
7....fold the backrest forward, place it on the seat cushion...
8....put the backrest with the pillow in a vertical position and...
9....remove the rear seat assembly from the vehicle through the side door.
10. Install the rear seat in the reverse order of removal.
