1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the steering column trim (see "Removal and installation steering column trims") together with the hazard warning switch.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the hazard warning switch.
4. Turn the switch until one of the latches matches the slot in the trim, squeeze
retainer and remove the hazard warning light switch from the trim.

5. Install the hazard warning switch and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
