Coolant temperature gauge. When the pointer is constantly at the beginning of the scale, disconnect the wire from the pointer sensor with the ignition on and connect the tip of the wire to the ground.
If the pointer deviates, the sensor is faulty and must be replaced. When the pointer is constantly in the red zone, disconnect the wire from the sensor with the ignition on. If the pointer returns to the beginning of the scale, the sensor is faulty. If the pointer remains in the red zone, either the wire has a short circuit with the "ground" or the device is damaged.
Fuel level indicator. The method for checking the fuel level indicator is similar to that described above for the coolant temperature indicator.
If the pointer is constantly at the beginning of the scale and does not deviate after the corresponding contact in the electric fuel pump connector is shorted to ground, then the device must be checked.
