Execution sequence
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Move the parking brake lever to the lower position.
3. We post the rear axle (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair") and remove the rear wheels.
4. Key by 13 mm Loosen the locknut while holding the adjusting nut with a wrench of the same size.
5. Holding the tip of the front cable with pliers, a wrench by 13 mm turn the adjusting nut clockwise to increase the cable tension or counterclockwise to decrease it (see below "Parking brake system - disassembly and assembly"), achieving the required travel of the parking brake lever.
6. Turn the rear wheels. They should rotate freely, without jamming.
7. Tighten the locknut, keeping the adjusting nut from turning.
