When pedal 9 is fully depressed, the primary chamber throttle valve should be fully open and the throttle lever should have no additional travel. When the pedal is released, the throttle valve should be fully closed. If this is not the case, the position of the pedal and throttle valve can be adjusted by changing the length of rod 2, by twisting or screwing its tip. At the same time, check and, if necessary, adjust the length of rod 1. The center-to-center distance of its tips should be 80 mm.
The cable and its sheath must be secured so that when handle 6 is fully extended, the air damper is completely closed, and when the handle is recessed, it is completely open.
