The brake booster is a non-separable design, so if it fails, it is replaced as an assembly.
The amplifier's performance can be checked as follows: with the engine off, press the brake pedal 4-5 times. Keeping the pedal pressed, start the engine. If the amplifier is working properly, the pedal should "fall" slightly when the engine starts.
The check valve, which is located at the end of the vacuum hose, is designed to be able to brake the car with sufficient efficiency when the engine suddenly stalls. You can check its condition by creating pressure in the hose using a suitable rubber bulb. A leaky valve must be replaced.
