Checking the technical condition of the rear suspension (VAZ-21061)

We check the tightening of the fasteners of all parts of the rear suspension. We tighten the loose connections.

We visually check for damage to the springs, cracks and deformations in the longitudinal and transverse rods, rear axle beam brackets and body.

If cracking of the rubber or play in the elastic bushings of the hinges on the spacer bushings is detected, we replace the rods as a whole with new ones or install new elastic bushings.

The shock absorber mounts must not have any play, and their housings must not have any leaks of working fluid. The rubber bushings of the shock absorber mounts must be free of damage and local bulging.

You can verify the shock absorber's functionality without special equipment by vigorously shaking the car body downwards. The car should return to its original position without oscillating.

We replace faulty suspension parts.
