Having shifted the generator to the engine, remove the worn belt and put on a new one.
Squeezing the generator from the engine with a mounting blade, tighten the belt and in this position tighten the nut securing the generator to the adjusting bar.
The correct belt tension is set by the amount of deflection in the area between the pulleys of the generator and the coolant pump or the pump and the crankshaft under a force of 10 kgf. In the first case, the deflection should be 10-15 mm, in the second - 12-17 mm.
After adjustment, tighten the lower generator mounting nut and install the engine mudguard.
