For clarity, some of the operations are shown with the generator removed from the engine or with engine parts removed.
Disconnect the plug from the generator terminal "67" (see Replacing generator brushes).

Disconnect the plug from the neutral wire terminal.

After moving the insulating cover, use a 10 mm wrench to unscrew the nut securing the wires to terminal 30 of the generator and disconnect the wires.
Remove the drive belt from the generator pulley (see Replacing the alternator drive belt).

Using a 17 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts and remove the adjusting bar.
After unscrewing the nut of the lower generator mount (see Replacing the alternator drive belt),...

...we take out the bolt and the bushing. The generator will be held on the bracket.

We remove the generator from the car, lowering it between the bracket and the front axle beam.
We install the generator on the car in the reverse order of removal. After installation, we adjust the tension of the drive belt (see Replacing the alternator drive belt).
