  • "0" - one driver;
  • "1" - all seats are occupied;
  • "2" - all seats are occupied + cargo in the trunk up to full load on the rear axle;
  • "3" - one driver + cargo up to full load on the rear axle.

For other loading options without exceeding the payload weight, the handle positions are selected in such a way that the illumination of the road with low beam headlights is within the normal range and oncoming drivers are not blinded.

Cars without a headlight range control system in a variant version can be equipped with headlight units with 4 mounting screws (see fig. 65). In this case, with the vehicle fully loaded, turn the set screws to the extreme right position.

7 — engine hood lock drive lever.

8 — socket for connecting a portable lamp.

9 — ignition switch. When the key is in the position:
  • "0" - everything is off, the anti-theft device is not enabled;
  • "I" — ignition on;
  • "II" - starter is on;
  • "III" - ignition is off, anti-theft device is on when the key is removed.

To turn off the anti-theft device, insert the key into the ignition switch and, while slightly turning the steering wheel left and right, turn the key to position "0".

10 — Hazard warning light switch. When the button is pressed, the flashing light of all direction indicators and the indicator lamp in the button itself is turned on. The hazard warning light is turned off when the button is pressed again.

11 — clutch pedal.

12 — brake pedal.

13 — heater cover lever.

14 — Instrument lighting switch. Is energized if the external lighting switch 17 is on. Rotating the handle turns on the instrument lighting and adjusts its brightness.

15 — accelerator pedal.

16 - place for radio receiver.

17 — external lighting switch. When the upper arm of the key is pressed to the first fixed position, the side lights are turned on, and when pressed to the second fixed position, the headlight circuits are additionally energized.

18 — Rear fog light switch. The lights are turned on by pressing the upper arm of the key when the headlights are on. At the same time, the orange light in the key itself signals that the lights are on and simultaneously illuminates the key.

19 — parking brake lever. By moving the lever up, the brake shoes of the rear wheels are activated. To return the lever to its original position, press the button on the end of the lever handle.

In case of emergency, the parking brake can be used while the vehicle is moving to slow down, or it can be used simultaneously with the service brakes.

20 — backup warning lamp. In the variant version, if the car is equipped with seat belts with an alarm about unfastened driver's belts, the "Fasten seat belts" warning lamp is installed.

21 — indicator lamp for rear window heating. Lights up orange if rear window heating is turned on by switch 22.

22 — Rear window heating switch. Rear window heating is switched on by pressing the upper arm of the button with the ignition on. The orange light illuminates the button.
