To perform the work, you will need a container for draining gasoline (0.5 l).
Installation
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. We measure the size L of the filter, excluding its fittings.
Attention! When performing the following operation, a small amount of fuel will flow out of the hoses, which we drain into a previously prepared container or plug the hoses with two M8 bolts.
3. Cut out a part of the fuel supply hose with a length L at a distance of 70-100 mm from the fuel pump.
4. After putting on the hose clamps, install the filter. We orient the filter according to the arrow pointer on its body towards the fuel pump. We tighten the clamps.
Replacement
We replace the fuel filter every 10,000 km of the car's run.
1. Loosen the hose clamps to the filter fittings. Remove the filter and install a new one.
2. Tighten the clamps.
3. We start the engine and check for fuel leaks at the junctions of the filter with hoses.
