It is recommended to install a fine fuel filter on a vehicle that is not equipped with one. The filter itself and two worm clamps with a diameter of 8-16 mm are required for installation.
To perform the work, you will need a container for draining gasoline (0.5 l).
Installation
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Measure the size L of the filter, excluding its fittings.

Attention! When performing the following operation, a small amount of fuel will flow out of the hoses, which we drain into a previously prepared container or plug the hoses with two M8 bolts.
3. Cut out a section of the fuel supply hose of length L at a distance of 70-100 mm from the fuel pump.

4. Having previously put clamps on the hoses, install the filter. Orient the filter according to the arrow indicator on its body towards the fuel pump. Tighten the clamps.

Replacement
We replace the fuel filter every 10,000 km of vehicle mileage.
1. Loosen the clamps securing the hoses to the filter fittings. Remove the filter and install a new one.

2. Tighten the clamps.
3. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks at the filter connection points with the hoses.
