Fuel tank filler cap — removal and installation (VAZ-2114)

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the fuel tank filler cap, or use a Phillips-head ratchet to unscrew the two screws securing the cap.

3. Remove the cover.

Installation

We install the cover in the reverse order. Before tightening the screws of its fastening, we close the cover and check the uniformity of the gaps along its perimeter.
